Fall is upon us once again.  While most begin their new year in January, many educators begin their “new year” in September – a couple new notebooks, sharpened pencils and a clean slate.  In honor of this new beginning and with a heart set on biehus becoming a real place someday, we are going to follow the squirrel’s example and start saving acorns.  To qualify as a good acorn (enjoy this darling acorn pattern courtesy of planet june!), an idea must have practical application in both the present and the future.  So, for example, a multi-sensory curriculum designed to teach and reinforce appropriate eye contact makes the cut.  Stay tuned…
