9. Achievement?

this documentary, race to nowhere, was recently shown at a local high school.  as with many documentaries, it was working from a thesis which it clearly set out to prove.  the film did inspire important conversation and raise questions about how communities define “success” for children – and at what cost.

perhaps the most interesting question though is: “what can we be doing instead?”

  1. LOVE this. It’s scary and yet I wonder if I’m doing it w/ E already? Great food for thought. It would be devastating to think my own sweet ones felt what these kids were so eloquently expressing.
