So small

Ohdeedoh‘s profiles of children’s spaces and design-friendly products never cease to inspire me.  They recently led me to the work of designer Jennifer Kirk of Ambrosiagirl. Her mini polaroid style magnets are just darling and I have enjoying dreaming of ways to incorporate them into my curriculum.  I think the children will be enamored with their size (because of their size and their magnetic quality – these are not well suited for children who are still putting non-food objects in their mouths!)  It might be a neat way to display the children’s family photos or to introduce works of art.  Any other ideas?

  1. -Storytelling sequencing (using photos from kids’ own experiences)
-Silly Storytelling: kids draw magnets out of a bag and come up with a story based on the order in which they come out

Some of our favorites (although our magnets are not nearly as cute as these!!)
