Although the weather can’t quite be described as warm, signs of spring are showing themselves. Our walk to the neighborhood park gifts us with new discoveries every day – a tree in bloom! a purple flower! a green bud! – and many more children to play with once we arrive. Back at home, our April Table was moved into a new place as part of spring cleaning. This month our poem is “Spring Rain” by Marchette Chute. Our work of art is George Seurat’s A Sunday on La Grande Jatte (I can hardly wait to show her this painting at the museum – its grandness is lost in postcard size!) Our character trait is Courtesy and its corresponding habit is asking “May I be excused?” at meal time.
